Ripple is sharpening its focus on the dynamic payments landscape across Europe. We are looking for an executive, reporting directly to the GM of RippleNet, to help lead efforts in the region and support our fast-growing team in London. While you won’t be charged with doing this on your own, this role requires an extremely high level of autonomy, entrepreneurial energy, and business savvy in order to drive success for one of Ripple’s key international offices.


  • Develop a customer-centric culture that emphasizes the needs of customers in and out of the region
  • Partner with our Marketing, BD and Sales teams to generate a pipeline of the fastest growing customers in the region
  • Manage strategic partners in the region by proactively monitoring performance, developing improvement plans and ensuring strong executive relationships
  • Manage a high functioning team of regional account managers
  • Work with BD (partner and infrastructure) and Sales (customers) during the delivery phase to develop comprehensive account plans and prepare for account transition
  • Develop and manage a strategic receiver program that optimizes for best in class user experience, commercial pricing and quality
  • Determine final say in downgrading strategic receivers that miss required performance standards, and consequence management (reduction in fees etc) for regional receivers that underperform to a smaller extent
  • Establish strong sending pipeline into the region with careful coordination from sales and other regional GMs
  • Establish a two-way channel of communication with HQ about issues in the region
  • Support Government Relations activity in the region
  • Represent Ripple locally at conferences or in the media
  • Ensure the overall health of the regional Ripple office and supporting local employees


  • 15+ years experience in-market is essential, ideally with high-growth tech or fintech companies
  • Proven success in sales, consulting, marketing or product management in financial services, banking technology or payments
  • Natural leader with proven effectiveness in leading cross-functional (satellite) teams
  • Deeply familiar with global payments infrastructure (across commercial banks, central banks, payment providers, regulators, etc.) and the dynamics in play across the region
  • Strong communicator of ideas; able to engage and lead client and Ripple teams in challenging the status quo, implementing change, and driving action with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain talent in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Business-level proficiency in at least one other language spoken in the region a plus
  • A postgraduate business qualification is desirable
